Are you looking for some rock ballads for your wedding? Or maybe just a romantic night with your special loved one? Well I have found some rock love songs and ballads. I know that not everyone likes that mushy country and r&b music. I like to hear the guitar riffs and feel the emotion of the music. Here is my list of great rock love songs and ballads.

1. More Than Words by Extreme: This song was released in 1991, this is the epitome of stating that you need to show how much you love someone not just say it. After all, actions speak louder than words.

2. Open Arms by Journey: Released in 1982, this song is about couples reconciling and going into “open arms”. Putting it all aside to try and work things out because you want to be together.

3. Take My Breath Away by Berlin: Mostly recognized from the movie, Top Gun, this song just literally states that love can take your breath away. Love is that powerful.

4. Angel by Aerosmith: This song is about a guy realizing that a girl is his angel and he needs her to come save him. He needs her in his life. This song was released in 1988.

5. Your Body Is A Wonderland by John Mayer: Catchy tune that says this guy respects his girl and her body. He wants to explore it more.

6. Your Guardian Angel by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus: Really awesome and powerful ballad that says I will always be there and never let you fall. This is the ultimate devotion. This song always makes me cry. It was released in 2006.

7. Can’t Fight This Feeling by Reo Speedwagon: This is the best song for best friends who have become lovers. The guy decides to tell the girl that he can’t fight his feelings anymore.

8. When I Look Into Your Eyes by Firehouse: The eyes are the pathway into your soul. They let the love in and out. This song was released in 1992.

9. Nothing Else Matters by Metallica: This song is about saying that even when you are far apart, you can still be close together because nothing else matters.

10. I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing by Aerosmith: From the movie, Armageddon, starring Steven Tyler’s daughter, Liv Tyler. This song teaches us to make every moment count and to make sure we let our loved ones know that we care. We don’t want to miss valuable time with them.

This is my list of rock love songs and ballads. Hope you enjoy.

Some people start off with a very specific idea of what they want as a tattoo. A good tattoo artist can use their clients drawings, pictures & ideas and turn them into a piece of unique body art. Typically, the client meets with the artist to show them what they are looking for before any work is done. After getting all the information, the tattooist goes to work on a preparing the image for transfer to the skin.

Other people haven’t got a clue as to what they want, they just want a tat. But, just popping into a tattoo parlor and asking them to just give you a tat will get you something you may regret. A tattoo is supposed to be personal, it’s probably going to be on your body for the rest of your life and will have to stand the test of time. The choice of tattoo is an important decision that shouldn’t be taken lightly. It’s best to take some time and really think about what you want.

Most tattoo studios have huge collections of tattoo artwork known as “flash” on their walls and in portfolios. There can be hundreds or thousands of these images, depending on the parlor. Some of this artwork is original, created by the artists that work for the parlor. Mostly, the flash you’ll see on the walls has been around for decades and not all that unique. As a budding rock star, this is probably not what you’ll want your tat based on.

Personalality and lifestyle usually dictates the style of tattoo a person gets. There are die hard old-school individuals. These guys prefer the pin-up girl, American flag and the heart with “Mother” on it tattoos. These are the kinds of tats that sailors are so well known for. They bring up images of rough men, loose women, booze and smokey bars. These tattoos also seem to fit well with the heavy-metal crowd.

Tribal designs are currently some of the most popular styles of tattoos. They’ve managed to make their way across nearly all segments of the population. These often consist of curved lines, points, dots and other geometrically aligned elements. Tribal designs often hold significant meaning for the individual whether in a religious or social context. Typically, tribal tattoos are done in all black but not always. Where color is incorporated, black is often still the dominate color.

Celtic designs as well as Japanese and Chinese symbols have also become quite popular among the tattood masses. Similar in feel to the tribal designs, these symbolic images hold special meaning. Social and personal statements and words such as “love” or the name of a loved one are popular choices in this style of tattooing.

When choosing a tattoo design, it’s important to keep some basic stuff in mind. First of all, where will this tattoo be going? Consider what impression you want to make on the world. Some designs may be best in a place that can be covered with clothing, while others are totally appropriate for anyone to see. It’s really all about the individual and his or her lifestyle. Some people work in restrictive environments where tattoos can’t be shown. If you’re one of these people, getting a tattoo on your face, arm or hands could get you fired from your day job. Losing your source of income could really hurt you if you’re still on your way to fame and fortune.

Once you’ve found the perfect design for your new tattoo, get the best tattooist you can afford to do the work. Never have a tattoo done by anyone that’s not qualified. Having an amateur or second-rate tattoo done could be more than just embarrassing, it could kill you. Don’t risk your health, only use tattoo artists that use new, sterilized needles and the proper equipment.

Believe it or not, the time of day you get your tattoo done is very important. Set your appointment with the tattooist as early as possible. In busy studios, your artist will work long hours. Just like anybody else, they get more tired throughout their shift. Although they can still put out quality work by the end of the day, they’ll be fresher earlier on and their work will be that much better.

Once you’ve gotten your new tat, take good care of it. Don’t soak it in water or expose it to the sun for the first few days. Keep it moisturized by using vaseline or whatever your tattoo artist recommends. It’ll itch a bit as the skin starts to heal, but don’t scratch it whatever you do. The ink is so close to the surface of your skin in those first few days that you can literally ruin the tat.

People that have the misfortune of getting a bad tattoo only have a few options. First, like alot of people do, they can live with it. Even if it’s not a great tat, it still tells the story of the experience. Tattoos can also be removed with lasers. Having a tattoo removed by laser can be painful and expensive though. The tattoo can be covered with a new tat. The problem here is that cover-ups often don’t totally hide a bad tattoo. I’ve also seen signs over hatchets in tattoo parlors offering “instant tattoo removal” services. Tattoos were considered that permanant years ago.

Whether you choose an arm band tattoo, a pretty butterlfy tattoo, an old-school design or a tribal tattoo, choose wisely. Getting inked is a form of personal expression. Pick the imagery you add to your body with great care and you’ll be happy with it for the rest of your life. And, if you’re like alot of tattood folks out there, you’ll be inked over and over again.

Rock and Roll music is a style which uses parts of several forms of music including classical, country, folk, jazz and rhythm & blues. I grew up with Rock & Roll it has defined my life. Rock & Roll music is best when it exposes the musicians emotions which leads to telling stories, many that involve love. At times it can be humorous in nature; feelings of anger, power, depression, sadness or even at times, stories that make no sense at all.

Though many would associate rock music with ear-piercing vocals and loud guitars, numerous rock geniuses will attest to the fact that a piano can hold its own in an arena of deafening sounds showing that it too is an instrument that can defy its own stereotype.

For those interested to play rock songs with a piano, remember that if one has never played this instrument before, it is unlikely that one can instantaneously play Piano Man with it. Although we would all like start as a master pianist you must start at the beginning with the first lesson which will be something easy like Chopsticks. Eventually, this will lead to progress in which the you can begin to appreciate, learn and apply the basics in rhythm, style and tone.

Some key points to remember when learning to play rock music on the piano is that one must take the time to learn and read each individual note. This means that one should not simply learn how to play the chords. Do not forget that a piano is not a guitar so take the time and effort to practice more often.

In the process of learning the basics on how to play piano songs; one can begin purchasing CDs that contain their favorite rock music that are heavily influenced with piano accompaniment. While you listen to the songs, begin to pick up the tone and tempo. Also, try to examine one’s favorite rock songs and figure out what key these songs are played in.

Next, you must move towards learning how to play the major and minor and dominant 7th. One must also start playing diminished and half diminished chords wherein a chord is playing two or more notes in a consecutive manner. With regards to a diminished chord, it is basically a musical chord that has a diminished fifth. At the same time you are practicing these, you should continue to study and learn sheet music while listening to your favorite rock songs.

You may want to go one more step and invert the chords. Take note that these are chords wherein the bass is not the root chord. This should be practiced once the individual has already learned how to play their 7ths. You should also practice playing the pentatonic scale. Bear in mind that playing a different key produces slight variations in the pentatonic scale.

Once you have the basics of how to play piano songs down, you can start playing some of your favorite rock music on the piano. In the beginning, you must understand that it will take time to learn some of the complicated styles of rock music. Always remember that practice makes perfect so make sure to allocate some time for practice. Keep in mind that most rock music created for piano playing are made in such a way that the individuals play the harmony using their right hand and the melody with their left.

Note that there is a possibility that the rock songs being played on the piano might not sound like the ones in the CD. This is because musicians are known to be clever and skillful. Once you figure out how the melody and harmony merge to create the sound, you can begin to play around with the chords and improvise with the tones and maybe even add some of your own notes. This goes to show that most musicians do not simply rely on reading music but also jump at the chance to be innovative and creative.
